so this is christmas

its that time of year again.the time of year we hope that we are spoiled and showered with gifts that will entertain us for awhile.Its that time of year when people just seem "nicer"..more giving..smile more..just all around nicer..heres an Idea.why not be like this all the time?not just 2 weeks a year.why not make it christmas year around ?wouldnt that be nice?so think about it.I know I will be.try to after January 2nd keep that spirit alive.and know the true meaning of christmas..and it isnt being spolied with  a ton of Nintendos..or sonys..or ipods..or what the heck ever.not saying its bad to give gifts or be entertained by them.but next time you get a wii why not give it so some poor kid?you who have much.but a wii isnt everything..really isnt anything.just a distraction.well im off.will add more later.

Tolerance

Who am I to say what is normal and what isnt?Who am I to judge another persons life?
People need to be tolerant of others no matter who they are or what they believe,
Everyone has a story,everyone has a good reason for who they are and how they are,
Often times relegious people need to appease their conscience so thus they start attacking everyone they dont agree with to somehow feel they are doing God a service and being a christian,well friends the proof is in the pudding as they say.Want to see a real christian?then see how they act and you will know..see if they are full of love and see if they are showing compassion on thier fellow humans,to sit around pointing fingers is not the way of christ at all.
If you are a follower of christ you will love as he loved.you will be gentle and kind.You arent here on this earth to understand everything and everybody.Life is hard and we need to try to put ourselves in others shoes and know that we all go through the same things.we all have the same heartaches we all have the same trials,so put away your ego and put on the cross of love called Jesus,let the world know you are his by your loving kindness towards all men and all women and children.

God is not a Hobby

I notice a lot of people these days tend to treat God like a third class add-on,that or they want to manipulate him with selfish desires,thinking that he will wait on them hand and foot with any whim they may need fulfilled.

God is not a Hobby,he isnt something you do to fill up your time.I know american christians tend to think they have it hard and complain a lot.well go to a country where Christ is not welcomed,where people die because they profess Jesus as Lord.so get that genie in a bottle notion out of your head.

Life aint easy and the scene can change at any time,JESUS said to take up your cross and follow him.so examine yourself.are you doing what you should be doing for the cause of christ?Am I?
Im not exempt this message is for me too.

So whats the mentality?the american christian tends to put themselves in a state of denial in a sense ,they kid themselves that singing songs and clapping hands and wearing t-shirts that show thier faith make them a Christian.

Sso we must realise that if we aren't showing other people love,if we aren't doing what Jesus said to do that perhaps we need to start obeying him and stop listening to what everyone else tells us.Imagine how life would be if we had no influences,from the media,music or others,if we just had a bible and ourselves out in the wilderness,this is how we should percieve it in order to think for ourselves and weigh things for what they are.and stop treating God like a Hobby,but our very essence for living.our very center.who transforms us in love to glorify him through that.

why I am not a Fundamentalist

Relegion is too the mind what cynanide is too the body,a horrible poison,a poison that continues to close minds and kill multitudes of people.
a poison that has reduced people to mindless idiots that are virtually void into having any real thought or action.you call that free will?

I know how it is I been there..I have been poisoned by its swill,a swill that a few right wing puppets spew out over the masses to support thier evil cause of blowing up people and destroying lives.of marching off to war to die in the Name of GOD.For what is the cause?

I am not a fundamentalist.Thank God,fundamentalist are narrow minded people.they tend to like to single out their favorite verses in the bible when it suits them. they believe in war and death and have the nerve to think that only fundamentalist will go to Heaven.

It really strikes me odd that millions can die in war and so called Christians support it.
I dont understand where Christianity starts then.is it going to church and singing hymns.never lifting a finger to help your fellow man or woman,
it it sitting back waving flags and cheering the war machine on as it rolls and roars against people you dotn even know nor the less could hate.
innocent people caught up in the middle of this power game.The truth of the matter is Jesus loves everyone..he loves all the children,
brown,black,white,yellow,red..do you really think Jesus would be for war?do you picture Jesus living in america attending a war rally waving a flag like an idiot.

I feel sorry for the children of narrow minded people who think there truth is the only truth.
fundamentalist got the right name "fund" people fund the hate at alarming rates,people vote cause some so called relegious leader tells them to.

Now I know why Jesus said that not everyone that says "lord" will enter Heaven.

Its a skit done to the Lifehouse Song "Everything"
Its about a girl that finds God and is happy in her walk but then the things of this world ensnare her and pull her away from his love.but it ends happy so check it out.

Feelings

I know its hard to be happy and smile when so many things are going on in life..your moms got cancer..your dog died..how can one be happy when those things happen?
Being sad is a Natural emotion..it isnt always connected to being negative..but it can be.we can sit around thinking of all our problems and create new ones and drown in our misery.so that brings us to sadness..and of course we all feel sad at times.I really havent seen a happy face yet at a funeral..or at a murder scene.My point is you can be happy and you can think positive,as you should,but dont think that has failed if someone you loved died and you cried and were sad..of course you would be.
you have tear ducts so apparently you were meant to cry.

You were made for love and you were made for happiness.
God loves you no matter what

Its time to be Positive

I really believe as we think so we are.its bibilical to think that, the bible states that "as a man thinketh so he is".Its always better to be positive than negative..negative people dont get too far usually in this world,because they believe all those old cliques"Im not good enough" Ill always be poor" "I cant do it""Im a loser" "I suck at everything" the list goes on and on.
The truth is you have conditioned yourself for failure if you think this way.The brain is much like a computer in the sense it does what its told.
Its used to all the old negatives,But you can change your way of thinking,But know it usually isnt gonna happen overnight,because you need to recondition it.it will always go on the way its been told,so rethinking and relearning can take time..but know if you are faithful
and if you dont give up you can be a happy person via feeding it the positive.its like nourishment,there is bad and good things you can put in your body its the same for the mind.
start using postive affirmations daily unlearn all the negative affirmations and place them with such examples as these:

I am one with God and he loves me no matter what
I am good not bad
I am worthy of love
I accept love into my life
I can accept whatever I am feeling today. Without resistance my feelings pass and I am then open to experience whatever is next.
I listen with love and gratitude to my body's messages. My body helps me learn about myself.
Love fills me and heals me as I open to connect with the people God has placed in my life.
Today I can handle whatever comes up, knowing that I am surrounded with all the positive energies of good and love in the universe.
I have the courage to look without fear at what needs to be changed in my life.
At this moment, I am safe in mindfulness.
Every experience is perfect for my growth process.
I am safe. It is safe to feel. My feelings are normal and acceptable.
Today I am letting a power greater than myself remove all my fear. I am now free to look within for answers.
I release, I relax and I let go. I am safe in the here and now. I am safe in Life.
Today is full of miracles!

it is literally endless how many affirmations you can come up with so these are some examples.
remember they are always done in the past tense in the sense they are already occuring.


you can write your own too.its a good idea to get a piece of paper and write them down and then recite those everyday.
  
Remember "you cant love anyone else if you dont love yourself"
so if you hate yourself its time you stop hating you and everyone else.cause God does truly love you,and he has accepted you when he sent his son to die on a cross for you.
